If you even THINK your dog might die you have a responsibility to get your dog to emergency vet, ASAP. He can't talk. He can't tell you he feels sick or not and that his tummy hurts and that his tongue might now have toxic particles and feels like he licked glass. Please do the right thing and get him to the vet. It's just like a child. Please take care of your pets as you would a child. Geez, are you kidding??
