You need to make it very clear in no uncertain terms that they make you uncomfortable and you wish to cease communication with them. If you then continue to get contact from them, that is now harrasment, and you may file a restraining order. At that point, if they contact you again, they will be in legal trouble. I know it may sound harsh, but they honestly sound like they have a screw loose…and I just wouldn’t take any chances now that you have a new baby.

Oh so you just want them to give money to your son when they die but you never want them to be allowed to see him? Thats an interesting concept. If you didnt want her to see the baby then you should have said no to the son being part of her will. Why do you think she is a stalker? Shes an old lady that just wanted to see him once a month, its not like they asked to live with you so they could see him everyday. I don’t know sounds pretty normal to me how she is acting, shes acting like the grandparent and being persistent, she probably wouldnt have felt like this if you wouldnt have gotten involved in the first place saying yes to things, but now she probably feels like family since your wife got to know her and that kind of thing. Like see what Im saying…….ya know. Since you accepted him to be in their will and you let them bless him and all this they probably think you are really close or something.

Politely. The woman may be a loon, but if you said ‘A blessing? Sure! In your will? Well…hmm…sure!’ — you’re going to have to be nice to get rid of her.

What were you thinking?

A polite, serious discussion about how you re-considered and don’t feel it’s appropriate for her to include your son in her will would be a good place to start.

i would tell her.. you know, we have no interest in talking to you anymore, so please stop calling us before we take legal actions against you. usually if you scare them like that, they should stop, if not, than call the police.

i had this same problem…kinda. this man fell in love with my daughter when she was a baby (she is now 5). i though it was creepy how he always bought her toys and came by my house to visit her. (he lived down the block from us), but i found out that his kids did not allow him to see there kids because he would not give them money (his kids got into drugs and wanted money for the drugs).

so i started talking to him more and asking why he loved my daughter so much and he told me about his kids and the drugs and not letting him see his grandkids.. he told me that i would never know the joy i gave him letting him know my daughter.

she is now in his will and thinks of him as her second grandfather.

hmm, probably not the best to accept being written into someone’s will "so soon," bc even though you guys sound like you casually knew this couple, being in someone’s will like that is kind of a deeper level, no?

once a month doesnt sound so bad, that’s 12x a year, if you trust these people and youre with your babe when they visit.

do they keep calling bc youre not answering? you might have made them worry now about either your safety or if youre upset with them, and the woman may genuinely want to know why youre mad.

i’d decide first whether these were people i really want to have around, because if so, then try to start over with an honest (yet not offensive) conversation; if you were the ones sending mixed signals, initially (accepting the blessing, the will thing, and giving them the idea that you are all close friends –even if you maybe felt closer to them earlier but now are getting weirded out), you can’t suddenly change your ways without expecting some reprocusions (sp?).

i don’t see a psycho baby stalker lady, what i see is a lonely, hopeless lady. well, i also think that it’s unfair to accept that your son be in her will but refusing that she sees him. Imagine the amount of joy an HOPE you gave her when you agreed to the will thing…… maybe you should get to know her a bit more before making a decision. you could tell her VERY politely that you need to take the time to know her and think about what’s going to happen, meanwhile she could take him off her will until you come to a conclusion.
but if you have already made up your mind that you want nothing to do with her, then again, you could talk to her VERY politely, first excusing yourself then explaining that you don’t feel comfortable with what they have asked… and that she should take him off her will too…
