As an owner of a golden retriever and a long-haired cat, a lot of fine fur gets stuck to various clothing and throw blankets. It doesn’t come out in the laundry, especially on fleece items. Is there anything that can be put in the washer or dryer to help "collect" the fur? Removing the fur [...]

If I leave my clothes (especially underwear) lying around, my dog pees on the crotch. He doesn’t go a lot, just marks it. It’s gross and annoying. Why does he do this? Obviously I know I shouldn’t leave laundry lying around, but sometimes it happens. Mail this post Technorati Tags: clothes, crotch, dog pees, laundry, [...]

(Sometimes they look like little laundry spiders. Alas, they don’t come off in the dryer.) I’m interested in hearing about what [...]

I read somewhere (I think in a Heloise book) that you could put vinegar in the rinse cycle of your laundry to get fuzz and dog hair off of dark clothing. I do lint roller the clothing but still it is not enough. Can you give me any tips or advice on a good way [...]
