Try toys. My Grandmother buys her dog a new toy when she goes to the store or hides a treat in the bag and pretends like she went to the store just for him he LOVES IT. He has more toys than he knows what to do with. My dogs like going on a ride to the store at night and I usually have treats in my pocket for them when I get out and reward them for being good while I was in the store. It's usually a convience store and I go in and get a drink or something. Best of luck!

Ah thats really sweet! Have you offered him a whole, raw carrot? My dogs go mental if i bring a bag of them in and devour the whole lot within a day!!! They also love raw broccoli, especially the stem, cut in half lengthways so that they can scoop out all the goodness. How about home-made dried liver? Get a pound or two of pigs liver from the butchers and slice it very thinly, lay it out on a baking tray and leave in a low oven for a few hours. Once its dried out and cooled down, snap it into small pieces and hide them around the house - he'll have so much fun seeking them out and it doesn't stink your home out. How about a kong ball? You can put a few teaspoons of peanut butter inside and he'll be in seventh heaven! Best of luck in your quest, great question!
