I purchase functional dog coats for my Dobermanns. I invest in a good quality polo neck coat that will stand up to the rough treatment my b*tch would put it through & I can wash/tumble dry & which lasts for years.
$60.63 for a Dobermann.

Please let your dog be a dog, not a doll. I am a owner of a small dog by the way! A dog sweater is fine to keep the dog warm but "clothes" are not.

I have a miniature yorkie and I keep sweaters on him when it's cold outside. I'd put little boots on him during the snow and ice storms if he'd let me. I usually find stuff in the clearance aisles and save them for the next year...like costumes and things that are cute.

Just make sure it's nothing that can get tangled or caught when he's alone. Also make sure he doesn't try to eat it or chew through it.

Spend whatever you want...it's your money.

hahaha. i have a pomeranian and hes so fluffy ^.^ his name is Butter Boo. Some ppl think dressing dogs is cruel... but they are like human! we put clothes on and im sure none of us would want to go to school with nothing on. Some say that they are given fur for a reason. well, y r we given skin? its totaly ok to dress your dog unless they try to bite u wen ur putting clothes on them. anyways... Butterboo has a whole CLOSET. not like a tiny one but a real closet XD hes a spoiled pup. I dont buy him dresses... HAHA. But my sis has a girl pom and she has juicy dresses, gucci dresses, all those fancy stuff! DESIGNER dog clothes isnt that a crack up?? Shes so cute in them XD. For me, the style is way more important. You wouldent want to spend a bunch of money for something ugly would u? I dnt buy butter boo sweaters cuz his fur is so long and thick it makes his butt look 20x bigger >.< i usualy get him tuxedos, leather jackets, chained stuff, nothing usual, like a t shirt with a bone on it. it has to be AMAZING otherwise its a rip off. Hahaha hope i helped XD

Personally my dogs prefer to be naked,in just their fur.
God didn't create dogs to wear clothes. A sweater in winter time when going out to do potty and walks but to dress the other wise is degrading. If you want something to dress get a doll or a baby.

The only reason I would dress up my dog is if they needed if for warmth. So I would be looking for something warm, not something cute and frilly.
