I am not against it!

My dog boxer wears doggie clothes all the time

she is a short hair boxer and needs a sweater, jacket and boots in the winter! Especially today! She loves it, and we don’t care if other people don’t like it.

I don’t know…Miss Emma has a dress for every day of the week…and a leopard print coat.

Can’t convince her to wear hats though…

I think it would have been better for me to just have a little girl….or at least it would have been easier on Miss Emma.

I don’t think putting on a coat for your dog is wrong if its for the reason purely to keep them warm.
What really bugs me is people dressing up their dogs in little dresses and outfits that serve no purpose other then making the dog look retarded.
My dog has very sensitive paws so she wears little booties. I see nothing wrong with it for the right reasons.

I don’t see a problem with smaller dogs wearing sweaters or what not during the winter since they don’t have thick enough fur to keep them warm.

I’m not a fan of dogs wearing clothes other than in the winter though.

I am an OLD lady of 35 and I love to put my dogs in clothes. Even my big ol rescue mutt likes a t shirt now and then.

Thing is, I love to give them attention, they like the attention, It is win win for all of us.

So long as the clothes fit comfortably and the dog isnt trying to wrassle its way out of them…

The biggest reason my dogs wear stupid outfits in the summertime is to keep them "trained" to keep their clothes on in the winter time…

for the same reason my dog’s against me being naked.

i was with you until you said you take your dog for a walk in her pj’s. i understand a coat or extra something in the winter for dogs that get cold. i’m glad you’re walking your dog no matter the weather. but why not just the coat? why pj’s? why other stuff? again you had me until the pj’s.

but honestly it doesn’t bother me, i probably would tell you it’s cute if i saw you. i won’t do it to my dogs. it’s not my style and my dog’s would hate it. but if the dog doesn’t mind, who cares what people think?

I am not against it at all, I think a lot of the sweaters do keep dogs warm & some of them are really cute! They do serve a purpose especially if you have a little dog in the winter.
It doesn’t harm them unless you can see that your dog is noticably uncomfortable, really doesn’t like wearing clothes or it is the summer time.

I have no problem with dogs wearing clothes. I do have a problem with people treating small dogs like fashion accessories or not disciplining or training them in any way. I dislike spoiled brat foo-foo dogs that don’t know they are dogs, and I particularly hate the ignorant owners that think such bad behavior as biting and whizzing all over is "cute". A small, thin coated, well behaved dog wearing a jacket in cold weather is an entirely different matter.

I don’t know, it’s so annoying. People like to tell other people how they should live their lives. You would think they would have something better to do than worry about a barrette or shirt on my dogs.
